Onze stichting heeft van Rotary een forse gift ontvangen, waarmee wij de analyseapparatuur voor het laboratorium van ons medisch centrum hebben kunnen kopen en daarnaast diverse andere medische apparaten zoals een grote koelkast, speciaal geschikt voor het bewaren van vaccins.

Ook hebben we een generator kunnen aanschaffen, die voorziet in stroom als de electriciteit uitvalt. De “global grant” van Rotary is tot stand gekomen door bijdragen van de club Paris Porte d’Orléans, diverse clubs uit Nederland (Rotterdam Nieuwe Dag als partner maar ook zijn er bijdragen gegeven door Helmond Regio, Assen en Den Haag Noord), de club Rotary Kpalimé en voorts de districten 1600 (West-Nederland) en 1660 (Parijs) en last but not least TRF (The Rotary Foundation).

Het motto van het Rotaryjaar 2010-2011 was heel toepasselijk: building communities, bridging continents.

Notre association a reçu un don très généreux de Rotary. Ce don nous a permis d’acheter les appareils d’analyse pour le laboratoire de notre centre médical, ainsi que d’autres appareils médicaux, comme un grand frigidaire, spécialement adapté pour conserver les vaccins.

Nous avons également pu nous procurer un générateur, qui nous fournit le courant en cas de panne électrique. Ce “global grant” a été réalisé grâce aux contributions du club Paris Porte d’Orléans, plusieurs clubs aux Pays-Bas (Rotterdam Nieuwe Dag comme partenaire, mais également Helmond Regio, Assen et La Haye Nord), le club Rotary Kpalimé, puis les districts 1600 (Pays-Bas Ouest) et 1660 (Paris), et finalement TRFU (The Rotary Foundation).

Le thème choisi pour l’année Rotary 2010-2011 était de circonstance: building communities, bridging continents (construire les communautés, faisant le pont des continents).

Our foundation has received a very generous gift from the Rotary. With this gift we were able not only to buy the necessary analysis equipment for our medical center but also other medical supplies such as a large fridge especially suitable to store vaccines.

We were also able to buy a generator that supplies electricity in case of power failures. This “global grant” from the Rotary was established by contributions of the club Paris Porte d’Orléans, various Rotary clubs from the Netherlands (Rotterdam Nieuwe Dag as partner) but also contrubtions were made by Helmond Regio, Assen en Den Haag Noord), the club Rotary Kpalimé and the regions 1600 (West-Nederland), 1660 (Paris) en last but not least TRF (The Rotary Foundation).

The slogan of the Rotary year 2010-2011 was very appropriate: “building communities, bridging continents”. We are the Rotary very grateful for these contributions.
